GuildApps is currently built by two brothers.
In 2027, we plan to open the Guild to other indie builders — people who agree to the same four promises we made on the home page. Flat pricing. Public margins. Data ownership forever. Open-source death pledge.
We're not opening it yet because opening it early would ruin the promises. A Guild with 30 builders where 20 don't honor the terms is not a Guild — it's a marketplace. We're not building a marketplace. We're building a Guild.
WHEN WE'LL OPEN
Three conditions have to be true first.
90-day paid retention above 60%
Proof the apps we already ship are worth keeping. No point inviting others to a Guild whose apps churn.
Bundle attach rate above 15%
Proof that stores use more than one Guild app. That's when a Guild starts to compound instead of just being “a few cheap apps.”
Guild NPS above 40
Proof the promises hold — that stores actually feel the difference, not just save money.
If all three are true by end of 2026, we open the Guild in 2027. If any is missing, we wait another 6 months. We'd rather delay than dilute.
WHEN WE OPEN, WE'LL EMAIL BUILDERS WHO WAITED
Get on the builder waitlist.
Drop your email and a link to what you've shipped. When we open in 2027, we'll email the waitlist first, in the order they joined. No promises about slots — we'll be selective — but you'll hear about it before anyone else.

The four promises apply to your app, too.
- ✓You publish your per-store AWS cost every month. If your margin drops below 90%, you raise prices publicly with 30 days notice.
- ✓Store data belongs to the store, forever. Even after cancel. CSV export, no paywall.
- ✓If you shut the app down or sell it to a company the stores didn't choose, source code goes open-source within 90 days.
- ✓30-day refund. Human reply within 24 hours. No zombie billing.
If any of those feel like too much to promise, GuildApps is not for you. That's not a hostile take — those are the terms, and they're what make the whole thing work.
